MIL-PRF-4556F, PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION, COATING KIT, EPOXY, FOR INTERIOR OF STEEL FUEL TANKS (15 DEC 1998) [SUPERSEDING MIL-C-4556E]., This specification covers a two-component epoxy coating system for protecting interior surfaces of steel tanks used for the transportation and storage of fuels. The coating, furnished as a kit, is lead and chromate free and has a maximum volatile organic compound (VOC) content of 340 grams/liter.
