【摘要】:ThispartofENISO13937describesamethodknownastheballisticpendulum(Elmendorf)methodforthedeterminationoftearforceoftextilefabrics.Themethoddescribesthemeasurementofthetearforcerequiredtopropagateasingle-riptearofdefinedlengthfromacutinafabricwhenasuddenforceisapplied.Thetestismainlyapplicabletowoventextilefabrics.Itmaybeapplicabletofabricsproducedbyothertechniques,e.g.tononwovens(withthesameunder-mentionedrestrictionsasforthewovenfabrics).Ingeneralthetestisnotapplicabletoknittedfabricsandwovenelasticfabrics.Itisnotsuitableforhighlyanisotropicfabricsorloosefabricswhereteartransferfromonedirectiontoanotherdirectionofthefabricduringtheteartestislikelytooccur.NOTE1:Fortestsusingtensile-testingmachinespart2ofENISO13937describesasingletearmethodknownasthetrousertest,part3thewingtestandpart4thetonguetestmethod.NOTE2:FortheballisticpendulummethodforcoatedfabricsseeISO4674-2.Forthetrapezoidaltestmethod,seeISO9073-4fornonwovensorISO4674forcoatedfabrics.
