【摘要】:Thistestmethodevaluatesthepreheatenergyconsumptionandidleenergyconsumptionofhotfoodholdingcabinets.Thefoodserviceoperatorcanusethisevaluationtoselectahotfoodholdingcabinetandunderstanditsenergyperformance,temperatureuniformity,andrelativehumidity(ifapplicable).Ahotfoodholdingcabinetisdescribedasacommercialkitchenappliancethatisusedtoholdhotfood(usuallynogreaterthan200?F)thathasbeencookedinaseparateapplianceataspecifiedtemperature.Thistestmethodisapplicabletoelectrichotfoodholdingcabinets.Thehotfoodholdingcabinetcanbeevaluatedwithrespecttothefollowing(whereapplicable):Energyinputrate(10.2),Temperaturecalibration(10.3),Preheatenergyconsumptionandtime(10.4),Energyconsumption(idleenergyrate)(10.5),Energyconsumptionwithwater(humiditypan)deviceandrelativehumidity(ifapplicable)(10.5)andTemperatureuniformity(10.5).Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
